Couple declared wanted for absconding with company's N5m

A man identified as Mr. Celestine Chikeie Ogazie and wife Mrss Anthonia (nee Fagbamigbe) have been declared wanted by the Nigeria Police Force after allegedly absconding with the sum of Five Million naira (N5,000,000.00) belonging to Berrymart Integrated Services which they worked for in Lagos... According to reports, the suspect conspired with his wife to commit the crime.

A Federal High Court in Lagos has sentenced 64yr old Odeyemi Omolola, who is charged before the court alongside a Lagos socialite, Mrs. Funmilola Ogbuaya, to 25 years imprisonment, for attempting to export 1.595kg of cocaine to Saudi Arabia.

Access Bank, others take over Etisalat Nigeria over $1.72 billion (about N541.8 billion) debt

A group of Nigerian and foreign banks led by Access Bank PLC have taken over the management of Etisalat Nigeria following a collapse of efforts to reach an agreement with the banks on debt restructuring plan in the protracted $1,72 billion debt impasse.

A 43 year old man named Omega Mwaikambo who posted pictures on Facebook of the body of someone believed to have leapt to his death from the Grenfell Tower fire in London has been jailed for three months.  

Apapa road to be closed for one-year as FG begins reconstruction

A section of the Apapa Wharf road will be shut down for a year to allow engineers carry out reconstruction of the road that has been in a deplorable state for many years.
Minister of Works, Power and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, disclosed this at the signing of a N4.34 Billion Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dangote Group and other stakeholders for the reconstruction of the road in Lagos today June 17th.

A bridge at Tatabu village along Mokwa - Jebba road, collapsed due to heavy rain fall Monday, thereby halting vehicular movement from both sides. Officers and Men of the Federal Road Safety Corps led by the Unit Commander ACC Danladi Samari were on the scene to inspect the collapse bridge.
