Over 789 commercial sex workers, destitute repatriated to states of origin - FCT Minister

The FCT Administration has revealed that over 789 prostitutes and other destitute, have been repatriated to their various states of origin.
Minister of FCT, Muhammad Musa Bello, who disclosed this while speaking to newsmen at a media parley, said:

He will probably be sacked in Nigeria but in India a Traffic Police officer who stopped President of India's convoy to let ambulance pass through, to be rewarded

The Cantonment Divisional Police Command in Ghana, have arrested two Nigerian nationals for daylight robbery near the presidential palace in Accra.
3News reports that the two suspects, Ndubueze Odoemenam and Chiokoko Amadie were arrested Wednesday afternoon after they had gone to carry out their operation.

FRSC redeploys 71 Senior commanders including Rivers sector commander who cut the hair of two female officers

A statement by the media aide to the Corps Marshal, Mohammed Sani on Sunday, states that the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi, has redeployed 71 senior officers nationwide, including the Rivers State Sector Commander, Ayodele Kumapayi, who was recently recalled to Abuja for allegedly cutting the hair of two female officers.

Nigeria Got $29Billion From Shell JVs In Four Years

The royalties and corporate taxes paid by Shell to the Nigerian government last year increased to $1.4bn from $1.1bn in 2015 on the back of the rise in crude oil prices, while the Shell Petroleum Development Company-operated joint ventures alone contributed $29bn to the federation’s purse between 2012 and 2016.

Ritualists Kill Husband, Wife & Their Children In Lagos

A gang of assailants, suspected to be ritual killers, has wreaked havoc on a family of six in Adeke bus stop, in the Imota area of Ikorodu, Lagos.
The couple – Taofiq Agbaje and Simiat Agbaje, 32, – and two of their four children, Rodiat, 10, and eight-year-old Toyeebat, were hacked to death by the gang.

Nigeria E-passport Scarcity To Persist As FG Disagree With Vendor On Pricing

The scarcity of the e-passport booklets may not abate soon as Federal Government is yet to reach an agreement on new pricing of the document with the vendor, Iris Smart Technology Ltd.
It was learnt that ISTL had reduced the production and supply of the 32-page passports last year following the foreign exchange crisis in the country which had reportedly increased the production cost of the booklets.
